Diesel Mechanic Technician

Pennsylvania

PGT Trucking has opportunities for diesel technicians in the Blairsville/Midland area.

Pay & Details

  • Up to $34.00 per hour (based on T3 level experience and certifications)
  • Extra pay differentials based on shift, experience, and ASE certifications
  • Allowance programs for tools and safety shoes
  • ASE training program – company-paid training, testing and recertifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, braking systems, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and execute precise and timely repairs
  • Work closely with the parts department to streamline repairs and maintenance activities
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, environmental standards, and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Keep workspace organized, clean, and secure at all times

Requirements

  • One year of heavy duty mechanic experience with diesel engines OR equivalent trade/technical school education
